Anritsu MS2840A Spectrum Analyzer/Signal Analyzer
<div id="section1-item2" class="section active"> <p>The Spectrum Analyzer/Signal Analyzer MS2840A has an upper measurement frequency limit of 44.5 GHz and its carrier close-in SSB phase noise performance is overwhelmingly best-of-class for middle range models. As a result, the MS2840A supports measurements across a wide frequency band ranging from applications such as microwave wireless backhaul, requiring high phase-noise performance to measure transmitter carrier close-in spurious, to VHF/UHF private mobile radio (PMR). Connecting the High Performance Waveguide Mixer MA2806A/MA2808A to the MS2840A not only supports wide dynamic range measurements from 50 to 90 GHz but also eliminates image-response effects at wideband signal measurements, supporting millimeter-wave wideband wireless applications, such as wireless backhaul, automobile radar, WiGig, etc., as well as evaluation of millimeter-wave radar antenna sidelobe characteristics, which requires high sensitivity. <p class="bodycopy"><span class="subhead_04_Big">Product Overview</span><br> The CSW Series represents a new generation of AC/DC power sources that address the increasing demands on test equipment to perform additional functions at a lower cost. By combining a flexible AC/DC power source with a high performance power analyzer, the Compact CSW Series is capable of handling complex applications that have traditionally required multiple systems. The sleek integrated approach of the CSW avoids cable clutter that is commonly found in test systems. All connections are made internally and the need for digital multimeters, power harmonics analyzers, and current shunts or clamps is eliminated.</p> <p class="bodycopy">Since many components in the CSW are shared between the AC/DC source and the power analyzer, the total cost of the integrated system is less than the typical cost of a multiple unit system.</p> <p class="bodycopy"><span class="subhead_04">Easy to use controls <br> </span>The CSW Series is DSP controlled and can be operated from an easy to use front panel keypad. Functions are grouped logically and are directly accessible from the keypad. This eliminates the need to search through various levels of menus and/or soft keys. A large analog control knob can be used to quickly slew output parameters. This knob is controlled by a dynamic rate change algorithm that combines the benefits of precise control over small parameter changes with quick sweeps through the entire range.</p> <p class="bodycopy"><span class="subhead_04">AC, DC or AC+DC Output <br> </span>A direct coupled, transformerless design allows AC and DC on separate phases or on the same phase. The CSW can be used as a true DC power supply. High DC content waveforms (up to 312 volts) can be created with no derating of output power, even with 100% reactive loads, eliminating the need for a separate DC supply. Waveform programming is easily accomplished using the Graphical Users Interface software. Waveforms can be uploaded and modified from a digital scope. <p>The PLZ-4W Series Electronic Load unit is a multifunctional system designed to offer the highest levels of reliability and safety with operation function of constant voltage, constant current, constant power and constant resistance mode. And its control unit comes with GPIB, RS232C and USB as standard equipment, available in 5 models.<br> A 0(Zero)V input operating voltage is available in 2 models (PLZ164WA, PLZ664WA) which are suitable to meet the testing demands for the Fuel Cell, DC/DC converter, SW Power Supply, and any other devices required for the lower operating voltage application. Model PLZ664WA offers the 132A at 0V input as a largest current rating in its class. As for the setting value, it can be varied continuously, and be possible to optimize transient control for voltage drops due to wiring inductance, constant-voltage power supply, etc., when the load current is switched on. </li><li><strong>0(Zero)V input</strong><br> The 164WA and 664WA of PLZ-4W series permit a load input up to the rated current even when the Input Voltage is set for 0(Zero)V. </li><li><strong>Sequence function</strong><br> Sequence patterns set as you requested can be saved in the built-in memory. In the sequence program, 10 normal sequences and 1 first sequence can be saved. 256 steps of normal sequences, and 1024 steps of the first sequence can be saved in each program.</li><li><strong>Convenient function for discharging test of cells</strong><br> The PLZ4W can measure the time from load-on to load-off. When combined with under voltage protection (UVP) function, the time from when the battery discharge is started until the battery voltage falls to the cutoff voltage can be measured. Also, you can set the timer so it will load-off automatically after a specified time elapses from load-on mode. Once this timer is set, the input voltage value immediately before load-off is displayed, so it is possible to measure the closed circuit voltage after a specified time elapses from the start of discharging battery. </li><li><strong>Booster unit PLZ2004WB</strong><br> To achieve a large capacity system at low cost, the PLZ1004W has an expandable option PLZ2004WB as a booster unit. Using 1 PLZ1004W as a master unit, a maximum of 4 booster units can be parallel connected. (Max. 9kW, 1800A) Note: PLZ2004WB(Booster unit) can be used for the PLZ1004W only. It cannot be connected and used with any other model.</li><li><strong>Parallel operation</strong><br> Under parallel operation, the same model can be parallel connected to a maximum of 5 units when booster unit is not used.
